Traditional Art
The ability to create art digitally threatens the old styles. Traditional art (painting on a canvas with oil, sculpting a statue out of wood, sketching a portrait with charcaol on some newsprint) teaches the artist techniques that digital art can not. The choices we make can not simply be "Ctrl Z"ed; the tools we use have limitations and require an adeptness.
It is important to me to have a continued working knowledge of the creation of traditional art. I believe it will enhance my abilities in all creative aspects.
